The I<imtar> command is an archiving utility for mail/news messages.

Messages are converted into a single MMDF file ("^A^A^A^A" + MSG
+ "^A^A^A^A", "^A^A^A^A" + MSG + "^A^A^A^A", ...).  You can
extract messages by the I<imget> command.

This command is provided by IM (Internet Message).
